Abstract
Close urologic follow-up of renal transplant candidates and recipients often reveals prostate carcinoma at an early stage. Two patients who underwent renal transplantation for end-stage disease also underwent radical perineal prostatectomy for localized prostate carcinoma, 3 years after grafting in 1 patient and 4 years before grafting in the other. The perineal approach to prostatectomy may facilitate later renal transplantation and avoid allograft damage.Entities:
