Abstract
The article provides an analysis of 102 interventions in 93 periprosthetic fractures of the femur contributed by multiple surgeons predominately in community practice. The authors find that treatment of periprosthetic fracture of the femur is problematic. Success in terms of arthroplasty function and fracture treatment is difficult to achieve. Specific treatment recommendations are made based upon the success and failures of this survey.Entities:
