Radiotherapy of skin cancer: modern indications and techniques.

Skin cancer is the most frequent indication for radiation therapy in dermatology. X-ray treatments are particularly valuable in cutaneous neoplasms in special anatomical locations. Advantages and disadvantages of dermatologic radiation therapy are outlined, and modern indications, radiation methods and the selection of physical radiation factors are discussed.
