Abstract
Inflammation of the retinal vasculature may occur as a manifestation of an infectious disease, as part of a systemic inflammatory disease, or as part of an isolated retinal disease, and can result in severe and permanent visual loss. The search for a cause in patients with retinal vasculitis requires appropriate systemic evaluation and testing. Discrimination between the infectious or noninfectious etiology of retinal vasculitis is important because the treatment is different.Entities:
