Presenting economic information for decision making.

A Pelc1.

Abstract

This article identifies and discusses the interest and role of each of the stake-holders in the pharmacoeconomics decision process: sponsors, researchers, medical and economics experts, and decision-makers. In addition, the different publication strategies available to facilitate successful presentation of pharmacoeconomic data are reviewed. It is apparent that the presentation of pharmacoeconomic data will be successful only when clear objectives and an intended target audience are identified at the outset of the study.
