Memory books: helping children cope with loss.

K G Levine1.

Abstract

Children who have a parent or significant family member who is ill or dying or who has died handle their grief in different ways. Memory books have helped keep children mentally healthier and kept them at home rather than being hospitalized for the behaviors by which they express their grief.
