Abstract
People use tangible cues to form opinions about intangible products such as health care. This paper examines roles that physical environment tangible cues play in: (1) communicating with patients, doctors and staff members; (2) creating favorable patient attitudes; (3) developing positive service quality perceptions; and (4) market segmentation, targeting, and positioning.Entities:
