Abstract
The limited number of effective antituberculosis drugs available necessitates optimizing current treatments. We show that melatonin, which is synthesized in the pineal gland, can cause at least a threefold increase in the efficacy of isoniazid. This suggests that tuberculosis chemotherapy can be improved by innate molecules such as melatonin.Entities:
