Abstract
Current changes in research relationships include a re-examination of the ethical contracts made between researchers, individuals, and Aboriginal communities. New guidelines for research have been written by First Nations and circumpolar indigenous peoples' organizations. This paper discusses these guidelines, using case examples to illustrate the ethical, methodological, and political problems in the conduct of community-based health research.Entities:
