Abstract
The regularly arranged surface protein, the a-protein, of Acinetobacter 199A has been shown to have phospholipase A2 activity. Since half of the a-protein synthesised by Acinetobacter 199A is secreted into the growth medium, the bacteria are producing extracellular phospholipase A2.Entities:
