Chemical stimulation of productivity and pathogenicity of entomopathogenic nematodes

Abstract

Under laboratory conditions, the treatment of Steinernema carpocapsae and Heterorhabditis bacteriophora entomopathogenic nematodes with either Mg or Mn(II) ions produced an increase in their productivity and pathogenicity against Sitona lineatus weevil, pupae, and larvae.
