Glaucoma surgery in Nigerian eyes: a five-year study.

Abstract

A five-year study of 419 sclerectomies and 612 trabeculectomies has been reported. Early and late postoperative complications have been discussed and the relative effectiveness of the operations in controlling intraocular pressure in chronic simple and chronic angle closure glaucoma compared.
