Hepatitis and its problems in a haemodialysis Unit.

L Váry, A Karátson, S Köves, J Juhász.

Abstract

Current knowledge on the hazard of hepatitis in haemodialysis units is reviewed. Its routes of access and spread, and the possibilities of prevention are discussed. The preventive measures employed at the Haemodialysis Unit of the Department of Urology, University Medical School, Pécs, are outlined and the results reflecting three and a half years' experience are presented.
