Abstract
Twenty-one traumatic intracranial extracerebral lesions in 15 patients were examined with the EMI scanner using the 160x160 matrix. The results were compared with operation and angiographic findings. Although angiography seems to be a more reliable diagnostic aid, computer tomography has important advantages as it provides information on the nature and extent of the extracerebral lesion as well as on concomitant brain damage.Entities:
